St. Martin’s Celebration
Last Tuesday we had a wonderful St. Martin’s procession.
Together with the BilinGO elementary school we went through Braunsfeld with our colorful owl lanterns.
First the policeman and St. Martin went with his horse – and we were allowed to go directly as the first group behind him.
It was so exciting!
Together we sang songs to the music of the brass band until we arrived back at the schoolyard.
A huge fire was waiting for us there. We had sweet bread “Weckmänner” and children’s punch to drink. For the adults there was mulled wine.
We had a great day and are looking forward to next year.
St. Martin is always a great time!
